CLASSROOM
ACTION RESEARCH
By Group 2
Classroom research is
classroom-based research, encompassing not only PTK (Action Research
Classroom), but also various types of research conducted in the classroom, such
as research on student or research interaction forms that examine the
proportion of talk between teachers and students during the course of learning.
There are two researches method that we explain on this page. That are
Qualitative research and Quantitative research.
Quantitative research is
a research method that more pressing to measurement aspect with objective way
to the social phenomena and Qualitative Understanding is a research method that
emphasizes the aspect of an in-depth understanding of a problem rather than
looking at problems for generalization research.
To provide a more comprehensive
view of research we examine research from the perspective of what Richards
(2003) terms:
A paradigm or
“a set of basic beliefs” regarding research; a tradition or an “approach
to research covering generally recognized territory and employing a generally
accepted set of research methods;” and a method or “a means of
gathering, analyzing and interpreting data using generally recognized
procedures”
In what follows, we
discuss the paradigm of basic and applied research, the major research traditions
of qualitative and quantitative research, and end by describing some typical
methods employed in classroom research.
Research Paradigms: Basic
Versus Applied Research
One
of the most central distinctions made in discussing research is the difference
between basic and applied research. The purpose of basic
research is to acquire knowledge for the sake of knowledge. Its main goal
is to contribute to a fuller understanding of the world. Often basic research
is undertaken in disciplines like biology, physics, astronomy, and geology and
is used by researchers who want to verify theories of their discipline.
Cosmologists, for example, may be concerned about testing theories about the
origin of the universe. Applied research deals with human and societal
problems in the hopes of finding solutions to real-world problems. For example,
have investigated why some students are reluctant to contribute to class
discussions.
Research
Traditions: Qualitative Versus Quantitative Research
One
of the major distinctions made in discussing primary research is the difference
between quantitative and qualitative research. In order to distinguish these
two traditions, it is helpful to examine the differences in the types of
research questions that are posed in these two traditions, as well the typical
data that are used and how they are analyzed.
In quantitative
research, a researcher typically begins with a research question or hypothesis
that is quite specific. On the other hand, Qualitative research, typically
starts with the assumption that classroom learning must be studied
holistically, taking into account a variety of factors in a specific classroom.
Observed
happening in a particular context. Unlike typical quantitative research
projects, which is deductive and designed to test hypotheses, qualitative
research is inductive, using the data gathered to arrive at general conclusions
rather than making hypotheses during the initial phrase of the study. In
addition, unlike quantitative research, qualitative research generally involves
a limited number of participants and in the case of ethno-graphic research. Unlike a quantitative study, the findings are not
reported using statistical procedures but rather rely on rich descriptions of
typical scenes that were observed.
Quantitative Research
Two qualities are
essential for sound research: Validity and Reliability. There are three major types
of
validity: construct, external, and internal validity. Construct validity deals
with the degree to which the instruments used in a study measure the construct
that is being examined.
External validity deals with the extent to which the findings of one study
can be generalized to a wider population. In quantitative studies, generalizability
is often achieved by using a random sample. students. Internal validity, on
the other hand, deals with the degree to which the research design is such that
it has controlled for variables that could influence the outcome of the study.
There are two types of reliability: internal and external. Internal
reliability relates to the extent to which someone else analyzing the same
data would come up with the same results. External
reliability, on the other hand, deals with whether or not another
researcher, undertaking a similar study, would come to the same conclusions.
Qualitative
Research
These terms are defined differently in qualitative research
because there is far less control and structure in qualitative research. In
qualitative research, internal validity depends on what is referred to as
credibility and external validity to transferability. A researcher can achieve credibility
or internal validity by carefully recording and analyzing all of the data
gathered and presenting it in a fair and unbiased manner. Transferability or
external validity has to do with the degree to which the findings of a
qualitative study can be applied to other contexts.
Research questions
Quantitative: The research question has arrived deductively That
the researcher begins with a hypothesis. Qualitative: The research question has
arrived inductively That researchers observe and formulate questions.
Research design
Quantitative: The researcher has a hypothesis and specifies the
methodology. The object is to summarize the data in the numerical index.
Qualitative: Design research evolves over time. Once data is collected,
researchers look for patterns.
Ethical Research
There are several reasons why it is important to
adhere to ethical norms in research. First, norms promote the aims of research,
such as knowledge, truth, and avoidance of error. For example, prohibitions
against fabricating, falsifying, or misrepresenting research data promote the
truth and minimize error.
Second, since research often involves a great deal of
cooperation and coordination among many different people in different
disciplines and institutions, ethical standards promote the values that are
essential to collaborative work, such as trust, accountability, mutual respect,
and fairness. For example, many ethical norms in research, such as guidelines
for authorship, copyright and patenting policies, data sharing policies, and
confidentiality rules in peer review, are designed to protect intellectual
property interests while encouraging collaboration. Most researchers want to
receive credit for their contributions and do not want to have their ideas
stolen or disclosed prematurely.
Third, many of the ethical norms help to ensure that
researchers can be held accountable to the public. For instance, federal
policies on research misconduct, conflicts of interest, the human subjects
protection, and animal care and use are necessary in order to make sure that
researchers who are funded by public money can be held accountable to the
public.
Fourth, ethical norms in research also help to build
public support for research. People are more likely to fund a research project
if they can trust the quality and integrity of research.
Finally, many of the norms of research promote a
variety of other important moral and social values, such as social
responsibility, human rights, animal welfare, compliance with the law, and
public health and safety. Ethical lapses in research can significantly harm
human and animal subjects, students, and the public. For example, a researcher
who fabricates data in a clinical trial may harm or even kill patients, and a
researcher who fails to abide by regulations and guidelines relating to
radiation or biological safety may jeopardize his health and safety or the
health and safety of staff and students.
Question: - What do you think about ethical research and give an example about ethical research in classroom research?
- What is the important thing about quantitative research and qualitative research by your opinion?
1. Ethical research is the rules in research for the research conducted systematically and effectively arrange. Beside that, Ethical research aims to protect the copyright of researcher. For instance, when we desire to cite the theory from another research, we should include the source of theory, such as foot note. The researcher needs strategy to create some research. Therefore the result of research not over abuses by the others.
BalasHapus2. Quantitative and qualitative research is very important and supportive in a researchbecause with the data generated can help to reach the purpose of research. In addition, by knowing the type of research, can lead researchers to the next step. especially in determining the process of obtaining data and analyzing data. For quantitative research, statistical data are obtained, usually quantitative data is presented because there are things and the object that are compared is clear exploration through survey and experiment while for qualitative research is non statistical.

Assalamualaikum. My name is Tri Mandala Putra from PBI 4 (NIM 071). I agree with your all opinions about the ethical research but I want to add your explaination, that is we have to keep our sampel, especially when our sample is human. If you have to use humans to test research, then research should be carefully designed, negative effects should be minimized, benefits maximized, respect the dignity of humanity, privacy and rights of your research object. Prepare prevention and treatment if your sample suffers from the negative effects of the study.
HapusGreat opinion from Tri Mandala Putra and for the addtional i think that can be more information not only to the 1st group but also to my group as the moderator.
HapusMy name is Ary putra utama akmas (NIM 067) as the member of the 2nd group
Excuse me, I am Ariana Amir (PBI 3/052). I do appreciate with your answer that ethical research is the rules in research for the research but you need to pay attention in an example that you have written above. I think that you made an example in common issue but the question needs specific answer about ethical research in classroom research. And I want to give an addition about ethical research in classroom research especially when we use a students as participants in our research, we need to know the focal point in this and all data-gathering discussions needs to be framed in the context of how we, as researchers, view our subjects: as objects or as human beings (Cameron et al., 1993, p.86). Why those points are important because when we want to get a valid result in our research, we have to make our object as comfortable as we can so they can give us the result that we need. So, make clearly every explanation that you’ve given to the readers.
HapusAssalamu'alaykum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh. My name is Nurul Hidayah (PBI 3;NIM 059).
HapusI agree with the first group opinion. Ethical is important, ethic is all about the right thing guide people to do something correctly. Virtually in every fields, there must be any ethical standard. Either in research, health, technic or bussiness. For instance, ethical standards in research about the children:firstly, the procedures in the research never harm the children, either physically or psychologically. Secondly, children and their families have to know the right and full information about the research they participate in. Next, use inform consent. Last, researcher is also forbidden to disclose the personal information or identity of the participant in the report or written/orally discussion of the researcher.
Thanks in advice. I represent my group appreciate your suggestion. But, I think it is not problem because what we said is not deviate from the exist question. Then, in our opinion we have said "For instance, when we desire to cite the theory from another research, we should include the source of theory, such as foot note". I thinks it is same with your addition that said "we need to know the focal point in this and all data-gathering discussions needs to be framed in the context of how we, as researchers, view our subjects: as objects or as human beings (Cameron et al., 1993, p.86)". I mean it is included in it. But next time we will specify more and make it clearly :)
HapusThanks for your addition buddies.
HapusTo Ariana Amir, We took the example because it was inspired by the summary of the group 2 that etichal research is very important to publish the truth and avoid problem such as the occurrence of counterfeiting or fabrication. So with extend the foot note can prevent it.
assalamualaikum my name is Salmawati from pbi 3 (nim 048) i very agree about your explanation about quantitative and qualitative research, but i want to add an opinion that i have read in the internet that qualitative research has some terms These terms are defined differently in qualitative research because there are not many controls and structures in qualitative research. In qualitative research, internal validity depends on what is called credibility and external validity of transferability term. both of the terms are very important for us toknow. than u.
BalasHapusyou said that in qualitative research there are not many controls, which controls do you mean? can you explain it clearly?
Hapussorry i was typo i mean is not have much control like the quantitative research as we know. because quantitative research has some controls because it's use the statistik so it's has more control that qualitative right??
BalasHapusthank you for your respond. actually I've not gotten what do you mean. could you give me more explanation?
HapusHi Devi and Salmawati. I've read your conversation about 'control'. This word makes Devi doesnt understand what Salma wanna explain. I think that Control is benchmark (Tolak ukur or Patokan). In Quantitave research, the research uses Benchmark for measuring the data by using statistic calculation. Otherwise, in Qualitative research, the research doesnt use it. Thank you. Hope that my little explanation can make you understand.
Hapus1. In our opinion, ethics in research is a moral or prophetic reference in collecting the required data. Therefore, ethics in research is very important to be used as a foundation in research so that data can be accounted for, and can be a new experience for students.
BalasHapus• An example is before doing research in the classroom we should ask permission to the school concerned, in addition we must adjust to the state of students in the classroom.
2. Quantitative research is a more pressing method of research on the aspects of measurement in an objective way against social phenomena.
Qualitative research is a type of research that results in discoveries that can not be achieved (obtained) using statistical procedures.

Assalamualaikum. My Name is Tri Mandala Putra. I think ethical research is very wide. And I think your group doesn't explain clearly, but as a friend I want to add your explaination. There is called legality. we must Understand and obey the institutional rules and government policies associated with your research. Because what for our research if it is not legal.
HapusThe second one is I'm still confused, the question is what the important thing about the both method research, but you explaine just their definition. Therefore, I hope you explain clearly. Thank you

assalamualaikum.wr.wb. I am Nurul Sulastri from PBI 3
Hapusbefore I answer the question of Nur Hamida, I want to say thanks for Tri Mandala Putra because he has added our explanation.
The answer of Nur Hamida's question:
I think, the experience that the students will get from the researcher are the students get an idea of how a person conduct research and how the ethical researchis applied. so that, when they are in the same position {like researcher} they have anderstood the ethics of the reseach even though it is still small.

But thanks because you always give us more information here.

HapusI will answer the question of yuliana Ibrahim
Social phenomenon that we mean here is a phenomenon that exists in the social environment. In qualitative research, we research about an object and this object certain have related with social environment. So thats why, we said that the qualitative research is a more pressing method of research on the aspects of measurement in an objective way against social phenomena. For example when we examine an entrepreneur then we have to find out data about how to lead his subordinate, how he manage the finances in the company so that it affects the success of his business, and the others.
Assalamualaykum
HapusI am khuzaimah tul hafizah (061/ pbi 4)

Thank you :) :)

HapusI am still confused by your opinion on the number two on qualitative research and quantitative research, can you give an easier explanation about it ?
Assalamualaikum, before i answer your question thanks for your nice comment and correction Tri Mandala Putra,
HapusQualitative and quantitative research is very important in the process of data collection, where each type of research has advantages. in qualitative research using many methods so as to provide more clear data information and accurate results.the second is quantitative research focus more on numbers and points so that the data obtained is shorter and easier to understand.
@hidayanti @khuzaimah your question are sames with @mandala sorry for our mistaken
HapusAssalamualaikum. I'm Husnul Khatimah (20400115074)
HapusThank you for the questions and I will try to answer the question from Yuliana ibrahim
We need to understand the social phenomena referred to here is an event that is seen directly and occurs socially or comprehensively. For example: When we examine how the ability to write poetry all students of class X SMA NEG 1 BONE. And fall into the quantitative category because we use the numbers in the assessment mechanism of the study.
The purpose of the discovery that can not be achieved with quantitative research is research that requires a result of analysis of the researcher or his own thoughts and others. And more emphasis on how we can analyze a problem in the classroom, that's called qualitative research. Without using statistical procedures or related to the numbers or commonly referred to as quantitative research
you can read my answer of Tri mandala's question
HapusAssalamualaikum Warahmatullahi wabarakatuh...
HapusI'm Intan Oliyana PBI 3, actually I still confused when i read your explanation on number two? could you explain more detaill about the answer of number two?
thank you..
Assalamu alaikum. I am Desy Harfani Hakim from PBI 4. I just want to add a little information. First, researchers have to respect the subject's right. Researchers must realize that their subject has a right on their research, so the subject has the freedom to make choices, not forced, and respect for their privacy(optional). Researchers also must do the same treatment for all of their subjects. For instance, gender. Gender can not be the reason of the different treatment. And the last is researchers must consider the benefits and losses of their research for their subject. Thank you.
HapusAssalamualaikum.
HapusFor Khuzaimah Tul Hafidzah and Hidayanti may be I can give a little explanation about your question at once because have a question almost same.
The most important thing of both needs to be underlined is that if quantitative research is more directed to statistical procedures (numbers). While qualitative research prioritizes discourse analysis.
Thank you
Assalamualaikum warohmatullohi wabarokatuh my name is Syahraeni Fitriah Arsyad. thanks in advice about your explanation about quantitative and qualitative,i get it the point but i need more explanation about when condition that we have to use quantitative and qualitative research. tahnk you

1.according to our group ethics research is a research that is capable to adaption in a condition or environment with various cultures and able to put forward the value of knowledge, sense of responsibility, truth and in accordance with principles based on morals. For example the application of humanistic methods whose research is done in the classroom and aims to obtain the desired research results by researchers, if using humanistic methods we can provide space and give the right to the object of research humanely.
2.Qualitative research studies can provide with details about human behavior, emotion, and personality characteristics that quantitative studies cannot match.
Quantitative research: demands definitive, clear, unambiguous answers because of research by looking for patterns of truth. Example; statistical calculation but Qualitative research provides valuable data for use in the design of a product including data about user needs and behavior patterns.
Assalamualaikum. I want to ask you for the second number, I'm still confused about the example of quantitative research, statistical calculation but qualitative research, and you explained that quantitative research is unambiguous answers, and you make me ambiguous. HapusFor Amelia Syarif, you need to pay attention in what classroom-based research is. It is an application of human being in student-teacher ethics in classroom. Let me explain you as I can. Humanistic methods is one method that is used in learning-teaching process as right now. We should treat them better to get a valid result that wee need. My group use humanistic method as an example because we have learned it in last semester, so it makes us easily to understand when we used humanistic approach in classroom-based research to get a valid result when you want to make a research in classroom someday, you'd better combine them. I hope that you can understand it. If it is not enough for you, we can discuss it tomorrow at campus :) Thanks for your asking
HapusAssalamualaikum
HapusFor Tri Mandala Putra thank you for your question. I will try to answer as much as I can for an explanation of quantitative research the intent of our group is quantitative research demanding definite, clear and unambiguous answers because quantitative research seeks valid validity patterns. such as for example we perform a systematic, planned and structured planning so that the desired results become clear according to the design of a study using data, graphs, tables and drawings. and called unambigous because the results are expressed with numbers.
A little addition, a simple way to differ between qualitative and quantitative research is qualitative is a subjective research (it based on the researcher point of view) therefore it called ambiguos *and this also have explained by the other group at previous* and quantitative research is clear because it uses numerical data or statistic and another structure and planned way in quantitative structure.. Thanks
Hapus1.Ethical research is how we examine something in appropriate with the rules that already exits in the world of research, so that the research it can be compose done well. It also makes the results more accurate and reliable. For example we take the example of ethical research in the research we have done alone in the last semester of child study. Before we do research on the students, first we introduce ourselves and provide direction and purpose in our research. In order to avoid misunderstandings in the research. Next we enter in the process of giving the instrument as a measuring tool that we will use in this research. There are two instruments that we provide the inventory and interview sessions where these two things help in gathering information about the things we want to examine. To make our data stronger that we get, we do directly observation in the classroom where the child is studying. In the last stage we conclude from the results of research and create reports with accurate data.
BalasHapus2. There are some important things in research, including the purpose of research where a researcher should have a clear goal for the results obtained is also clear. Then research design, how a researcher specifies methods and hypotheses in the research. Then analysis data based on the data either qualitative or quantitative data, and the last is a research report.

Hapusassalamualaikum...I think your answer only explains the general research, the less explanation about Quantitative and Quantitative research. So can you give me more explanation about that??
after I read the answer or your opinion on the number 2 I am a little confused, because that is explained is important in the research, while the question posed by group 2 is "what is important from qualitative and quantitative research". But I do not see you explain the importance of qualitative and quantitative research. So can you explain it more clearly? Because your opinion is very simple about the importance of qualitative and quantitative in your answers. thank you
HapusI rather like your example in number one. But when I read in number two, you just explain about how important the research is. it has explained by 1st group. probably you may show us your opinion about the interest of quantitative and qualitative reserach. thanks in advance.
HapusTo the 4th group, Your answer is very general, therefore, could you give me your specific answer of the number two?
HapusA little additional answer for the second number is before you explain about the important of qualitative research and quantitative, you should explain first what the qualitative and quantitative are, so that readers get you explain about your answer that you give
HapusI am Ulfa Lis Adhayanti from pbi 4 (nim 078) I agree with my friends asking you to briefly explain what is important related to qualitative research and quantitative research. Therefore, a little additional qualitative research is important because of its description, tend to use analysis and more emphasis on the process of meaning. whereas quantitative research is very systematic, based on statistical data because based on existing facts. both of these studies strongly support the research data because the resulting data can help to achieve the purpose of the research itself. Thank you!
HapusI Riska Dewanti (PBI 3, Nim: 20400115051) as a group 4, will answer friends related questions about answers from our group. Before, i do apreciate all of the question so I will give a brief explanation but can clarify the answer to what the second question wants. In our opinion, what is important in quantitative research is in its structured and clear specifications from beginning to end. While in qualitative research, the method is natural and deep analytical technique means to get more accurate results. That's the answer from our group and to the friends' understanding of our previous answer, we apologize. Thankyou

Hapusthank you for all of your question for the fourth group and i expect an answer from Riska Dewanti obvious
HapusAssalamu alaikum. When i read your explanation, i couldn't understand your second example. I want to comment but there are many friends who represent whats on my mind. But after some of you explain deeply, I say thanks to you all🤗
Hapus1.Ethics Research is a Research about human. Where its studied about their attitude. In this case, the research analyze the problems happened to human attitude. For instance, when learning process,a student using their mobile phone to open social media such as Fb,Twitter,Instagram and etc. When the teacher is teaching and this is caused the teacher think the student disheed and disrespect their teacher.
BalasHapus2. Quantitative Research is a that has relation with numeric and Qualitative research is a research that has relation with feeling and description form. The important thing from the both of these research methods is measurement. Where the quantitative research the measurement could be a statistic (numerical) and the Qualitative research, the measurement could be a descriptive form (Related about feeling). In research, these methods complete each other. And in the measurement, there are reliability (when a research have the same result after its repeated or consistent) and Validity (the standar of the accuracy of the measurement instrument)
If there are no validity and reliability in research,we couldn’t know exactly what happened in the fact toward the thing we measure. Therefore, validity and reliability are very important.

Assalamu'alaikum, I'm Jihan Alfaizah (NIM 057). I disagree with your opinion. Because I think the material about ethical research not about the ethic of student when in the classroom. So, I hope the sixth group can give me specific reason about it.
HapusAssalamualaikum, my name is Riska Dewanti (PBI 3),
HapusI disagree with the opinion of group 6. on etichs research, because some information I get from the internet, the research ethics is more focused on the rules in the study that require a researcher to follow the rules. Not a study of human attitude, but if you want to defend your answers, give me explanations and logical reasons that can strengthen your answers. Thank you
Assalamualaikum, i'm Hardiana (056)I think the six group mistaken in interpreting the question by group two, perhaps your answer is more to the ethics of the student in the class not the ethics research in the classroom itself.
HapusAssalamualaikum. Oke, all of you, Here I want to add my explanation of my group about ethical research. Ethical research is Ethics includes norms for behaving, separating what should be done and what should not be done. There are 4 important things of ethical research. The first is about honesty, Honest in collecting library materials, data collection, implementation of research methods and procedures, publication of results. Be honest on the deficiencies or failures of the methods undertaken. Respect your fellow researchers, do not claim work that is not your job as your job. The second is safety, If you have to use humans to test research, then research should be carefully designed, negative effects should be minimized, benefits maximized, respect the dignity of humanity, privacy and rights of your research object. Prepare prevention and treatment if your sample suffers from the negative effects of the study. The third is not to do dicrimination, Avoid differentiating treatment to colleagues or students for reasons of type elamin, race, ethnicity, and other factors that have absolutely nothing to do with scientific competence and integrity. The last is appreciation of our colleagues, Appreciate and treat your research colleagues properly. When a research is conducted by a team to be published, the researcher with the largest contribution is designated as the first author, while the other becomes the second author (s). The sequence shows the amount of ontribution of team members in the study.
HapusMay it give you more information. Thank you
I am Ariana Amir (NIM 052) I just want to give an addition for your explanation. Your group only explain what is ethics as a common issue in the society whereas we are discussing about how Ethics Research we use in classroom-based research. So you need to give a clear explanation what does the question need?
HapusAnd you gave very good explanation about quantitative and qualitative research as i read yours. Thanks
Assalamualaikum. For ariana Amir, that's why I have just given you more information. Above your comment, there is my additional. You read first, then you comment if you want to. Thank you
Hapuspretty good explanation Tri Mandala Putra
Hapusin addition:
the other important thing is when we reserching is respect the confidentiality of respondents. if in the research concerned personal data, health problem, criminal act, or other disgrace. then the researcher should keep the confidential data. but if the respondent has made a deal from the beginning that his personal data can be published as research data, it's okay i mean.
for the 6th group i think the additional from mandala is the right answer because that is the same meaning with my group opinion but for your previous answer for the ethical research that just an example, not explanation about what exactly ethical research it is. But thanks for the information from the group 6th i appreciate it.
HapusI mean, "one of the important thing"
HapusI really appreciate your long and very clear explanation, and unfortunately you did not explain it in the answer of your own group.Because You explain the research ethics in detail and Clearly, then can u give me an example of research that includes your explanation? Thank you
HapusRiska Dewanti. Thanks for you ask. But right now, we are in the modern era, it means that we have sophisticated technology, especially there is google. If you ask an example of research, I think there are so many examples on google. And I think, average of us asked about an example of research. Thank you

HapusI don't really agree with your opinion about Ethics research. on your explanation, you show that the ethics research is must had by the object, but i obtain that the Ethics research is purposed to the researcher about how must they undertake to be a good researcher with the rules on it. and my additional is we have to know that the object of research is not always be a human, it's may be Plants or animals. therefore it's really crucial for us to know what exactly the ethics research. thank you
Very good addition Mandala, before you give your point of view i am really confuse about your group's explanation because they delivered it by common side about ethics, but you make it more clear as a question needed.
BalasHapussorry for bad network Mandala, i commented your group opinion before you posted your new opinion.
I just give a comment because you are in one group but you have different side from your friend. maybe its better if you discuss it with your friends before you posted it all, so there will be a coherent group point of view. Thanks Mandala, but I do agree with your additional bro
Thank you Ariana Amir. As a normal person, we sometime have many problems, that's why I didn't come to my friends, but we kept talking in media social. Next time, we will do the best!
Hapusi agree with ariana maybe your friends group can help you to give another explanation for the other question or opinion next time
Hapusgreat job for you my friend
You are welcome Mandala:)

BalasHapusfor syahraeni fitriah arsyad to which group your opnion addressed? is that to my group or another group? if that for the other grup you can reply in their comment
Hapusthank you
With whom don't you agree Syahra? Make it clear. I know it is not always humans, but not only we keep the safe of humans, but also plants or animals, on my explaination I wrote humans because the safe of humans is more important than the both. And you said that you don't agree with my explaination (maybe, because you comment not clearly to whom). So what is your opinion if you don't agree?
HapusThank you
I think for my group, Ary. But we wait for Syahra's explaination. Because her comment refers to my group. But only Syahra knows

HapusAssalamualaikum, i'm Raihani Awalia. I agree about your explanation about quantitative and qualitative research, but i want to add an opinion that i have read in the internet that qualitative and quantitative research is that qualitative research is much more subjective than quantitative research or surveys and using methods is very different from collecting information, especially individuals, in using in-depth interviews. And relationships between variables Quantitative researchers, in viewing the relationship of variables to the object studied more cause and effect, In qualitative research is holistic and emphasizes the process.
BalasHapusthank you for your additional opinion about my group discussion material i appreciate it
